Jil Sander SS2019 / voguerunway.com

Jil Sander did a very strong collection once again. It was a great start for MFW, and I have truly great expectations for the rest of the week. But speaking of Jil Sander, how great is that loose black jumpsuit?

An outfit from previous Sunday. I love trans-seasonal dressing; combining knits with sandals or bare legs with heavy coats. My beloved Céline pants go with every outfit, and this time I wore them with a knit from Weekday.

During Paris Design Week I discovered very interesting boutique in Le Marais, À Rebours. The store is part of Lafayette Anticipations art foundation and it has a great collection of books, ceramics and jewelry. I’ve been for a while a big fan of Carolina Spencer, who is behind @matagalanplantae, and was very excited to spot her vases live.

Finally I was able to visit the Communist Party’s headquarters in Paris. It might sound a bit bizarre Saturday activity, but the gorgeous building, designed by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, has been on my must see -list for a long time. This weekend the whole Europe is celebrating European Heritage Days by opening many important offices and government buildings for public. If you are currently in Paris, I highly suggest to visit this one today.

Trendspotting (if that can be said since NYFW is just repeating already ongoing trends..) nylon windbreaker fabrics in few shows. The material looks fresh in the more feminine silhouettes, such as in the long dress from Tibi.

The Row SS2019 / voguerunway.com

NYFW is almost over and it has been very boring to be honest. I mostly waited for The Row, but they skipped the show and organized a presentation instead. However, the look book looks still great, especially the grey look above.

I hope Calvin Klein and Maryam Nassir Zadeh will serve some treats for the final days.

Inspiration for the new week; Daria Werbowy in long knit dress. The picture is from a Phoebe Philo’s personal visual vocabulary for Céline via @rarebooksparis. The book was unfortunately sold immediately, it would have been a real treasure.

I have a similar black knit dress and I can’t wait for colder days to be able to wear it.

vase 1000

Paris Design Week is on until 15th of September and there are great events and exhibitions to discover this weekend. I wanted to recommend this exhibition I visited yesterday, 1000 Vases, in the heart of Le Marais. You can imagine my excitement, as I’m huge fan of ceramics and constantly looking for new artists. The exhibition runs until Monday the 10th at 17 Rue Commines, 75003 Paris.
